hmaly:

frank's just having a problem with the notion that the Athy architecture is the best architecture in the world...Like many Intellabees, he had no problem arguing the merits of "superior architecture" when PWeeiii was in possession of the crown. Like many Intellabees, now that INTC, 40 times larger than AMD, can no longer boast a superior architecture, suddenly, "superior architecture" no longer matters...Funnier, was the line coming from the INTC poster emeritus that the kmart celery blue light special was going to be a new market share grabber for INTC...These guys are just plain denying the reality of the superior architecture of the Athy and the necessary implications with respect to future growth potential of AMD that falls out of owning the worlds best on a price/performance basis microprocessor product line...

The innuberable awards bestowed upon the AThlon by arms length organizations, as you have pointed out, is in direct contrast to what appears to be in store for the P4...It's one thing for INTC to flop with its P4, it's quite another when these Intellabee acolytes avoid the reality of the significant implications that necessarily fall out of the Athy's superior architecture...

These guys need to give themselves a shake...Could be a long and painful ride in a relative sense, otherwise...AMD is in its ascendant performance phase. The flopping P4 attempt would seem to indicate that INTC isn't!!!
