Dan3, Not so. If they cancel the count then the Fla legislature makes the pick. The Fla house is Republican. The feds have it in Supreme court now and from what I can deduce Bush's only hope is the unfairness of only recounting 3 zones that are known Democratic strongholds. That does sound unfair as why not select 3 Republican strong holds of the same population and count them as well? or count them all again. Can of worms is what it is. the whole country holds their breath, the market drifts and droops. Any decision would be better than no decision. As for the pregnant chads, watch them and see if Dems or Repubs are born I though Gore won Palm Beach with a large majority....why recount that one? the more I think about it the less fair a selective recount is!!
