Was hoping that you'd have a good one!
We had 4 generations around the table, and Pop (Mr. Hollen) got numerous Great Grandkiddie hugs and smootches - which seemed to brighten up his day..!!
I had my first "..sammidge.." this noon, and am getting the urge to grab another can of Canada Dry Ginger Ale and go "piece" a little bit more.
Had to run to the store for film yesterday, so Josie and Shawny tagged along; (..my Official Granddaddy-magnets..)!!
When we got there, Josie advised me that she was going to get something special..!! I queried her if she had brought her allowance, and she politely but firmly said, "No". I then asked if she thought that I had brought my allowance? - receiving condfident and immediate, "Yes"!
I got "...schmoozed..." for a Crayola Lipstick Kit and a Tractor w/Backhoe and Trailer...!! Quoting Gomer Pyle, "...Sooo-prise, sooo-prise..."!! Tee hee hee. :-)
Later, during the Big Wheel & Rollerblade Races around the driveway, we saw a shooting star - which means that Josie will get a "cake with candles" sometime soon.
