Hi Shannon,
I am an investor in this company too and have just recently tried the
product. While paying for something else in the local Mac's Milk store
I noticed the woman behind me with a bottle of Clearly Canadian
sparkling water. I went to the cooler and found a rather large supply
of the Sparkling Waters and several Orbitz flavours. I purchased
Strawberry-Melon and two bottles of Orbitz Orange-Vanilla and
Blueberry-Melon-Strawberry. I enjoyed the Sparkling Water and am
still waiting to try the Orbitz.

The store manager did not recommend the product saying he
ordered a case and it was sold out the same day due to the novelty
so he ordered a second case and it is still on the shelf. He claims it is too sweet and even the kids don't repeat order. In fact, he even suggested that if I had stock in this company I should sell it fast. I suggested to him that maybe this was a good time to buy in with the summer approaching and more people becoming aware of
alternative beverages. His point about the sweetness, however, rang
an alarm bell. With so much concern today with health and diet there
could be a big hurdle here for the company to overcome.

From my point of view, the taste was good, the shelf appeal was
excellent, but the price left a little to be desired. At $1.19CDN +
deposit + GST of 7% for 325ml Sparkling Water and $1.59 + deposit
+ GST of 7% for Orbitz it does not compare favourably with Coke or
Pepsi which can still be had for about $0.85 CDN.

One final point that concerns me about product promotion. I really
do not live a sheltered life and yet I have never seen this product
advertised here in Edmonton. People I ask say they vaguely recall
the name but also are unaware of the product. Maybe the marketing
guys could have a look at this. People don't buy what they are
unaware of and a little bit of 'in your face' advertising wouldn't hurt.

Just thought I would add my 2 cents worth
Take care,

Jim
