Rapid Jet Trade Plus is a powerful trading work center for active traders. New stock trades can be created quickly and efficiently using a single screen layout with six scaleable windows. Current positions can be sold with just a few mouse clicks. Separate floating order entry windows can be activated if desired. Visibility to current open orders, real time positions and today's executions is provided. Rapid Jet Trade Plus provides application performance and uses PUSH technology to stream updates so you have immediate feedback to your order activity. The basic operating windows of RJT Plus include: Trade Entry: This window is located at the top. Order Event: This window is located immediately below the trade entry window. This window will show a time based update for new orders, executions, cancels, etc. Open Orders: Displays current open orders. Closed Orders: Displays current closed orders including executions, cancels, expirations, and declined orders. Quote Window: Displays level 1 quote information for specified securities. Chart Window: Displays a level 1 tick chart for the selected security. Positions Window: Displays the securities that have traded recently. Provides open position and today's gain / loss information for each security.
Terms Of Use
To use Rapid Jet Trade Plus you must first read the following instructions and agree to all terms listed below.
Rapid Jet Trade Plus has been optimized for use in the current Internet Explorer (5.0 or newer) and Netscape browsers (4.7 or newer) for IBM PC Compatible computers. Please refer to our technical requirements for additional information.
Rapid Jet Trade Plus only supports stock trading. Options and other instruments are not allowed.
There is NO preview of an order. A checkbox located in the setup screen indicates if a confirm message will be displayed or not. The default is to ask for confirmation. If you elect no confirmation, then the trades will be sent directly upon clicking the 'Send Order', 'MKT', or 'Cancel' buttons.
When you place an order, the Order ID and the approval or disapproval of the order will be displayed in the order event window (located below the top trade entry window). The open order window will automatically update to reflect the new order. When the fill information is reported, the open order, closed order, positions, and order event windows will automatically update.
You may activate separate order entry windows with the 'New Order Form' link located in the top trade window. Each order window will display its order results on the main order event window.
You can place a trade quickly by using the 'Edit Order' or 'MKT Order' links in the POSITIONS window. Edit Order will move the detail to the entry form and allow review or change before sending. MKT Order will create a market order to close the position. This order will be sent immediately if you do not have the confirm order actions checkbox checked (see item 3).
You are responsible for insuring the symbol, order quantity and terms of the order are correct before you click 'Send Order'.
If you have any problems using Rapid Jet Trade Plus you should stop using it immediately and report your problem to customer support. Please see the technical requirements section for further information.
NOTE: Rapid Jet Trade Plus does not allow you to request a broker review of a non approved order. In some situations the normal trade entry screens will allow you to request a broker review of a non approved order and you should use those screens if needed.
