CB, seems Gore is cooked, then ... not that he wasn't anyway. Federal law mandates that if a state has held an election for the appointment of electors, but has failed to make a choice in the manner provided by law ... Seems too that whichever party enacted the Florida law about the 14th being the deadline effectively neutered their other law about hand recounts? Pretty crafty if it was the republicans, pretty dumb if it was the democrats. <g>
