If you are looking for an interesting way to cook turkey try deep frying. You inject the bird with a mixture of butter, garlic, celery and onion juice, tabasco if you like it spicy and fry it in peanut oil for 3 1/3 minutes per pound.

A 12 lb bird takes about 45 minutes to cook and 1 1/2 hours from rig up. I fry several at a time for friends or with friends to make a day of it.

You will never taste a more interesting turkey that is so moist. It has become a family favorite for us. If any one is interested in specific instructions and a recipe for the injection sauce send me a PM.

I spent Thanksgiving evening in a cold rain watching Mississippi and Mississippi State play. talk about partisans the Dems and the Republicans have nothing on these guys. Tailgating in the Grove is a huge past time for the UM crowd even in the rain.

My thanks is for good friends that I just met, a great ballgame and hot showers.
