Knowing full well that hand-counting only his counties would skew results in his favor, he had a chance to ask that all counties be counted in a fair manner. Too bad he didn't choose that option. Bush might have prevailed concerning the hand-counts themselves being innacurate(unlikely), but Gore at least, would be standing on higher ground. Dan B
