So many who post here express brilliant opinions in discussing investments and the markets, yet when looking at a volatile political situation lose any pretense of objectivity. Just a moment ago, on television, I saw a man I know pretty well. It was a tape of him arguing in front of the Florida Supreme Court and the credit said he was part of the Bush legal team. I was at a party with him less than a week ago and until today I could not have told you what his politics were. Last night I was at a dinner with a slew of Democrats and each and every one of them were saying EXACTLY the same thing you are EXCEPT they would say Bush where you would say Gore and Republican where you would say Democrat. It is pretty clear that almost all of them and almost all of you are blinded by your biases and incapable of seeing the truth. Read again what Polvie has said. Hear his wisdom. Listen to his voice. He expresses himself better than I do. He is certainly wiser than a lot of us. Your hostility does you and our country a disservice. I presume that you are intelligent, educated, community oriented folks. We can do better.
