Dear Longgone: "While you "bother" a chance at fair & balanced, why not go find out the number of US citizens killed by native Americans."

Actually, except in the Western Movies, very little!! If you study history you will find the Indians initially wished to trade with the white man to get the goods they could not produce themselves to make their life easier. All this killing business didnt occur until the white man decided he wanted the land they occupied (I say occupied cause in the Indian culture even they didnt feel they owned the land). The truth is the "Indian Problem" originated, and still currently resides in the EAST. Our US govt has never then and too this day does not treat the Indians well. It really is a major stain on our historical record. JDN
