"wiz, i'd double down that wooden nickel that wayne owes me that you live in or near a big urban area. urban and rural areas do not think alike. bush won the VAST majority of the country from a geographical standpoint. the cities have more people."

Damn, you got me! I live in Alaska, a town called X, population less than 500. Haven't eaten meat I bought in a store in years.. I kill it myself, or I don't eat it. Commercial fish for most of my living. All my good friends are hard core Gore haters. 90% of the people in my community voted Bush.

So tell me how does the electorial college help a place like Alaska? Only 3 electorial votes.. Alaskas voice is better heard if the popular vote had been sent..

But, hey you got me! I live 250 miles from that booming metropolis Los Anchorage. I haven't seen a cop in my town in years.. we take care of things ourselves.. works amazingly well.

"urban and rural areas do not think alike.".. gross generalization.. they are true in general, but be careful.. it's a very limited way to look at the world.
