DVD stuff ...

I have a Dell laptop. I rented a DVD movie and it played very well. In fact, the thing was so sharp and clear, it was phenomenal --- I'd say the movie was displayed as close to perfect that I've ever seen. The laptop speakers don't match my audio system, but when the sound is re-routed through the better system, the theatre experience comes alive. I don't know if it matters, but I didn't run any other programs when the movie was playing.

Cheers, PW.
