Victor, the canadian oil sector sat on its duff early in the year, even with prices rising, then finally things started to rock. its been the best sector up here this year along with canuck banks gold itself is down in the dumps but if you check some golds like NEM or ABX, they are off their lows. the high and low list in toronto is definitely tilted to the lows, like 8 highs to 100 lows one day this week but the golds weren't in there. no shortage of high tech in there though...
