...the same day the gorilla game ends...

Agree on that.

First, thanks for the info on share holdings. My bet is there's a deal underway which recapitalizes one or more parts of GMST. GMST touches on so many in-play businesses with so many deal makers, there are probably a half dozen proposals, most of which will never see the light of day.

I originally saw GMST as a pure EPG opportunity, and took a small position in 1998, and a larger position in 1999. The e-book venture shook me, but GMST's execution history gave me confidence.

Henry's control of a small but vital component for a much larger game, and GMST's vigorous defense of its patents is classic gorilla action. The involvement of Malone, Murdoch, Diller, and Riggio suggests the extension of GMST's lines may be on other than its own terms.

If I have time later today, I'll try to develop and post an ownership map of GMST/TVGIA, and overlay the comments from Malone, Murdoch, etc and also how much is owned by Boylan.

Whatever the answer, we should know more in a few days. My sense is open proprietary e-book architecture will be part of it.
