Hi HG48: Critters all OK. Fattening up for the winter. At Thanksgiving we had all the dogs/cats around the table. They got plenty thrown to them afterwards.

The coons and possum still come every night. Feeding still in shifts. Lots of dog food and still about 875 vanilla wafers with peanut butter each week. They are all looking healthy for the winter. Have fattened up nicely. Momma coon that got all beat up when something took one of her babies could gain a little more but she seems to have recouped pretty good.

It's been raining the past couple of nights. When it does, we put the food trays right up against the door so the food doesn't get as wet. They are a hoot when we do that because they come right up to the door window and stand on their hind legs and look in.

I was laying on the floor last night in front of the fire with our latest addition, another guinea pig, laying on my chest. I looked over at the door and there were three heads looking in, all lined up. It was momma coon and her two babies. If I had that on a video camera it would have made TV highlights.

Possum are doing ok, too. One still lives in the garage.

Thanks for asking.

Hope you and yours had a super Thanksgiving. Sorry to hear about the new carpet!
