Mike, I am not sure if you are familiar with the music service but it is actually not digital, it is analog data delivered through the same cable as my cable tv. The sevice came with a "black box" connect to my stereo where I have a fairly large remote with a screen that allow me to read info on every songs. The best way to describe it would be listening to the radio without interuption and commercial, plus you can also listen to the entire cd also. Very neat, I am a music enthusiast so I love the service plus it was helpful for me a while ago when I was trying to start my own music delivery service via the internet called Soundqwest Technology...unfortunately, I am not an engineer so idea/concept died with me but I always felt I can piggy back the music service to offer music services that allow the labels to venture into the digital age without the Napster and mp3 hassle. Just another way for Michael Armstrong to monetize the subscription base I thought....
