I can better your suggestion: it's time for both campaigns to renounce their interests in the presidency for the good of the country. Let the Speaker of the House run the country as the house-keeper president for the next 4 years. The federal government should use the next four years to set in place a better voting system to handle tight election. We can't rely on the probability of someone winning by a margin bigger than the margin of error.

I agree that there is a great need for election reform. However, I also believe that the elections should be managed at the state level (except in Illinois). :=)

Anything else I believe would be in violation of the US Constitution.
