wiz, sometimes you think you threw a touchdown pass only to realize you were pointed in the wrong direction! ;-) i must admit i was looking at the lower 48 votes. does alaska have more than 1/18 the population of california? if not, the electoral college benefits you guys. >>"urban and rural areas do not think alike.".. gross generalization.. they are true in general, but be careful.. it's a very limited way to look at the world.<< wiz, my apologies. i should have used the term "tend." i am very against gross generalizations as they effectively dumb down the generalizer and lead to erroneous conclusions when specifically applied.
