lml, As you know, certiorari can be granted by four justices (The Rule of Four) so it is hard to read anything into this action. If the Supreme Court holds the action of the Florida court was not improper, it then legitimizes the Florida Court decision meaning the contest process goes forward. If the contest process is not concluded by the deadline, it appears the Florida legislature has reserved the power to appoint the electors themselves. This would mean our next President gets selected by the Florida legislature. I can live with that but the media will have a field day.
