I appreciate your light response. The problem (with me) is this, and I don't suggest it is anyone else's problem;

About 60 years ago, we had a little war. On one side was one of the most evil bastards in the history of the world. One of the guys he was fighting was also one of the most evil bastards in the world. One was a Nazi, and one was a Communist.

Several people in my family went to that war and never came back. None died natural deaths. All were fighting for our right to have this discourse we are having here.

When I see someone calling someone else a "nazi" or a "communist", or when someone describes political antics in the United States as "Gestapo tactics", or "fascism", it tells me two things.

First, it suggests that they don't understand the implications of their rhetoric. Secondly, it suggests that this little election dispute we have here has been whipped into a "gigantic" conflict by the perps (Al and his buddies) and the media. I think this discussion would be better served if everyone would try and stay more civil. It appears the Democrats and the media feel the need to take this fight of theirs into the sewer, I'm simply suggesting that everyone in the whole world doesn't have to follow the same path.

Sorry for the straight answer. <G>

Cool alias, BTW.
