I agree with you to the extent that the judge seemed to be implying that his interpretation of the law was that all ballots received after the 7th had not been legally cast. In this case I agree with Katherine Harris who said all absentee ballots must be postmarked by the 7th and received by the 17th. I am even more lenient than Harris. I have no problem with the county that accepted ballots without postmarks till the 10th. From what I have seen on Tv there are many many reasons that these rejected ballots were thrown out, the postmark issue was only one of them. If we would listen to the press we would think that Gore disallowed almost all of the military ballots all by himself.

The "rule of law" is being undermined by those empowered to enforcing the law. They have themselvses to blame.<<<<<
