isopatch, Noone ever knows- But my guess is that the US Supreme Court is going to step up to the plate and put an end to all of this bullsh_ _.

They purposely left one week before their hearing so that the State and parties can have one last chance to resolve the issues- something that pretty clearly will not occur.

You now have ballots counted four times in some counties while other counties only counted their ballots once (a number of northern Flordia counites just recertified their initial vote total since they use opti- scanner voting technology). You have absentee ballots appearing out of thin air in Broward County- Yet military ballots submitted in time in numerous counties being disqualified on some thin technicalities.

Meanwhile (and there's a hilarious picture on the front page of our hometown newspaper today of a vote counter holding a huge magnifying glass scrutinizing some ballot),
some dimpled chad ballots are being counted- Other counties count them not.

And to top it off (this was a big tactical mistake IMO of the Gore Campaign and actually may have been the "final straw" that precipitated the US Supreme Court taking this case), the Gore Campaign announced that they will challenge the State of Florida's election results- even if they win!!

That's my instinct as an attorney, just for looking at how the US Supreme Court has framed the issues that it wants both parties to brief....
