<<The next step will be for a court to accept the contest (for good reasons since many valid votes of both Republicans and Democrats were not counted), and order, yet, once more a recount there. >>
I am neither a republican nor a democrat, I did not vote, but I have this to say:
-The margin of error in any count or recount is bigger than the difference between the two candidates. Every recount may produce a different winner. Why the recount? why will the result of any recount be more reliable? when will they stop, after how many recount ?
- One of the counties already changed the manual counting rules twice. the rules should have been fixed prior to the election, but they were not. The counties can only blame themselves, but it is unacceptable that these rules are changed as we go. this mean that the officials (or even the judges) can pick and choose the rules that are more "convenient" for their candidate. Based on this, all manual recounts based on rules that were not set prior to the election, or that can be subjective, should not be allowed, once and for all, in all counties (dem or rep), and in all futur elections. |
