Sudan: China Overseas Oilfield Gets US$ 320m Tranche Income Asiainfo Daily China News, November 22 Ref.: China Chemical Industry News, Page 5, November 22 AsiaPort -- China's first overseas large oilfield, Sudan 1/2/4 tract crude has been exported for a whole year, and CNPC has obtained US$ 320m in crude sales and pipeline transfer income. This indicates CNPC's overseas petroleum pioneering has won a major victory. In the past year, the tract produced 64m barrels of crude and generated US$ 1.16bn in crude sales and pipeline transfer income. CNPC obtained 12.25m barrels of tranche oil and US$ 320m in crude sales and pipeline transfer income. The Sudanese government and state petroleum corporation obtained 25m barrels or tranche oil and US$ 680m in income. This is the most considerable economic income in Sudanese history, greatly promoting the economic development of the country.
