Tom, we should watch the Fed carefully now. It would not surprise me to learn that they are turning up the money pump in response to the election uncertainty. This increased liquidity and much cash on the sidelines could fuel a big January rally.

There are a lot of tax losses to be taken in December which will drive losers even lower. But losing sectors don't usually lead big rallies. So which sector will lead the January rally? Very likely not Internet, telcom, or computer hardware. Software? ASP? Defense? Finance?
