Water controls are quite the thing. I was in a dam site recently that uses a two foot dia pipe at a drop of aprox 1000 ft. This set up run to 2 peltum(sp) type wheels which in turn drive 2 generators. The set up is totaly automatic and cost about 10 million to build. It brings in about 2 million and change per year.Not a bad return. I gather the company plans on building several more.The americans seem to be desperate for power and will buy all they can get.
