I got to thank you Wolf for the Evening (no Morning) and Morning (no Evening) Stars. It made me dig out and dust off my Nison book. I have throughly enjoyed reviewing it in between trading CLQ the last two sessions, clq started with a Bullish engulfing candle.
Nison: "Candlestick methods, by themselves are valuable trading tool. but Candlestick techniques become even more powerfully significant if they confirm a western technical signal."
Also, in the chapter, "Putting it all together" reading the master interpret market action, there are no "a long string of meaningless candlesticks."
"It could be a sucker rally," Well, with all the 128K+ shares being sold by TD Friday, I say its smells like a financing in the works. In the oil patch this is really smelly when M&A or financing happens. With powerful buying coming in DMX on Friday, why would anyone (TD), not wait and sell out at much higher prices?
Unless of course,
1. they are minimizing risk of missed Nov 30 or
2. they benefit as in an arbitrage play.
With all their selling, they are flushed with cash. The financing will come in less than 4.50 but not less than 4.01 (esp not 3.85). I also bet that buying was caused by word getting on 'bay street' that something is going to happen this coming week (or two). Let's see Monday if TD continues to sell just enough to keep the bulls at bay.
For everyone, just pretent this is the scenario. If we get a halt this week, just like one year ago (TK was the never ending seller last year), and the NR was a financing, would you buy, sell, short or hang tight when trading resumed?? One vote each, use it or lose it, no recount allowed, I'll do the final count and it will be final, no appeals to the supreme courts.... D-line for your vote is exactly 10 minutes after time of halt (according to halt order hitting ww.cdn-news.com.)
