Dear gao seng and all: Well, my wife and I went to the West Palm Emergency Operations building yesterday to see how the count was going and show support to George Bush. I was AMAZED to find ordinary folks from all over America there. They are so concerned with this election being stolen they just jumped in their cars, brought the whole family down and sat outside in fairly silent protest. The pictures of the crowds at WPB are not evident of the huge number of people there. The area is very large and the crowd is spread out over several blocks. No one camera shot really tells it all. We were taken in to observe in groups of about 20 at a time. All very orderly. My wife was interviewed by CBS so if you saw a women with a purple blouse and white shorts, that was her. I was so exhausted after spending the afternoon out there that I missed whatever happened last night after 8:00pm. I was told the Elections Board in WPB was going to count all night. Personally I CANT IMAGIN their being able to even think that long. Its a very tedious task and physically uncomfortable straining at ballots, bent over a table, etc etc. I feel sorry for them, I really think Judge Burton is trying to do his best to be impartial and at least what I observed I dont have a beef with him. My beef is these damn officials that refuse to just FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS and not tell these people they got to try and divine the intent of the voter. I wish the Judge that said that could spend 24 hours DIVINING with the panel. Maybe he would realize how ridiculous this is. JDN
