I don't remember intimidation and violence being a large part of sit-ins. I'm sure you've seen the video of the rent-a-mob chanting "LET US IN" while shaking their fists in the air. One rentee even attempted to sneak into the counting room, ostensibly to cause further disruption in the hand recount, as Florida law mandates it. He had to be physically removed from the area and tossed back into the angry mob. Another rentee, a 7 foot tall monster with a bad hair cut, looked like he was violently lashing out at volunteers who attempted to make their way through the rented mob. Not quite like the non-violent sit-ins. Not even close.
