I agree with that. I agree that the circumstances of the disenfranchisement of the old bat and the serviceman are very different, indeed.

Perhaps I didn't read what you wrote closely enough. You did talk about the old bat making a mistake, not just the old bat, herself. What I was reacting to is the Rep rhetoric, some of which asserts that the vote of the serviceman is more valuable than the vote of the old bat, per se. That's just plain wrong. Your flag waving caused me to interpret your comments as the old bat versus the serviceman rather than the mistake versus the postmark. I'm sorry if I misjudged your comments.
