How am I twisting things? If someone refers to you as an African American as an attempt to deride you and you correct him or her, and appropriately criticize his or her behavior, how are you twisting something? It seems the twisting is done if you allow that person to get away with racist remarks (or sexist). WRT "Democratic ostracism of inaugural activity", I don't know what you're talking about. I know the GOP plans on boycotting Gore's inauguration.
