Wholly laughable to me is defined by any statement surfacing, given the history of 12 months of unfullfilled promises by INTC supporters, that translates roughly..."We're recalling product now because of glitches or because it can't compete, but just wait 'til tomorrow" Once or twicw, maybe, but 12 months non-stop, is wholly laughable to me!!!

The INTC "some-time-in-the-future-if-ever" party line, has served solely to mask AMD's Athy phase 1, scaling virtually flawlessly by comparison, from 500 MHz to 1 gig, and AMD's Athy's phase 2 with the 1.2 gig/DDR combo, and looking out to phase 3, 4 and 5 with palomino, mobiles and servers...AMD's progress has been continuous...INTC's has been discontinuous...Nothing about the P4 leads me to believe Y2001 will be any different in this regard...
