dvdw, I hear a theory in your words. I'm and engineer and critical focused thinking is all that engineering is about.
My personal and professional acquired wisdom sees no merit in what you propose as the ebb and flow of social motion. It's based on an idealistic premises and flies in the face of my belief of how it really is.
