Willp,

I realize I should meekly trot off tomorrow and carve an X for my local Liberal candidate, who was duly selected by the real electors - the local Liberal constituency association. I remain just too much of a renegade to do that, however. I think I will mark a big black X for my local Alliance candidate.

sigh....this is actually a serious problem for us when there are a number of like minded voters such as yourself in any one constituency. That is why in a well run political organization like the Liberal Party of Canada, we do our best to ensure that the Returning Officer for as many electoral districts as possible is an elite member of the Liberal Party who will do his or her best to ensure that each poll is entirely staffed by card carrying Liberal Party of Canada members. Thankfully, other parties fail to provide sufficient numbers of scrutineers to cover all polls, especially in closely contested ridings. I can assure you that a 3rd consecutive majority Liberal government is a certainty. Ask yourself, are you working as a district returning officer or poll clerk or volunteering as a scrutineer come November 27th?
