Manny... "Your reply seems to imply that Israel is responsible(you call it Kristellnacht) for the potential that it would re-take some Palestinian land in order to protect its citizens."

My reply was to show that while the Jews had their Kristall Nacht in Germany, it appears that the Palestinians also have their Kristal Nacht in the West Bank. Every ethnic or religious group has their own agenda.

You said... "This is not about territory, this is about religion."

You are wrong. It has always been about land and territory.

You have to understand that the Palestinians were in Palestine long before Israel existed. It was the United Nations that in 1948 took land from the Palestinians and created Israel. Prior to that Israel didn't exist and the Jews of the world roamed the earth as nomads for many centuries seeking their Israel. This is history.

"The history of the United Nations and the State of Israel is
intertwined. Shortly after Israel was established in 1948, in accord
with the United Nations partition plan calling for a Jewish national
state in Palestine, Israel became an official member of the
international body. Since that time, however, the United Nations has
more often than not demonstrated hostility and belligerency toward
Israel, criticizing Israeli policies, singling out Israel for offenses
committed by other states, and prohibiting Israel from the full
participation enjoyed by other members."
