Reply to my private correspondent:

I don’t blame you for deciding to ignore Raging Bull. We used to call the TIGI thread on RB a zoo, but that is an insult to any well-run zoo. I myself am so sick of all the dishonesty, plots, false aliases, crudeness, etc. that I cannot force myself to continue reading that thread. I returned home after Thanksgiving to several hundred messages; I probably read 10 or less. No one can convince me that RB couldn’t clean it up if they really wanted to.

Speaking of what makes me sick, it is interesting to note all the people who have challenged me about whether I have traded this stock. My real name is known to everybody who wants to know it. I have simply stated that I have bought this stock 23 times. I have sold only once. I sold part of my position in the summer of ’98 and immediately bought those shares (plus some) back a few days later. I now own in excess of 68,000 shares.

Some rocket scientists on this board who are such deep thinkers have concluded that regardless of my above testimony that I am actively trading the stock. The vast majority of these cretins do not post under their real names. They hide behind anonymous aliases, and when a little is learned about them, they change to other aliases. It makes lying and false accusations so much easier.

Here’s my challenge. Let the bashers choose one person they trust to visit me in person, and I will prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that my above testimony concerning my position in this stock is true. And bashers--unless you want us to conclude that you are all lying, manipulative, crude lowlifes—feel free to prove you are not attempting to manipulate the stock. Bashers, put up or shut up.

The Bruss thing doesn’t phase me that much. It is not good news, and certainly clues us in that Bruss must be watched. If I hadn’t been through "RG hell", the Bruss thing would undoubtedly have made more of an impression on me. What I still can’t figure out is why Bruss would make a personal loan to Gordon when GeneralSearch needs every dime they can put their hands on.

I think that trusting Paul Henry is a reasonable risk at this point. Paul seems to be very aware that he can be sued if he strays from the straight and narrow path. His sticking in here is a very positive statement IMO.

As far as who can be trusted on the thread, that’s a tough one. Undoubtedly, the four people you mentioned (including myself) have all been used by management at some time or another. There are many occasions in which the lies can be traced directly to management. Some of the lies, IMO, were desperate efforts to survive. Other lies were simply habit. Those who have lost money because of those lies have good reasons to be angry.

Many people are angry at the four of us who have been accused of hyping the stock and thus are responsible for innocent people losing money. A reality check is in order. When did anybody ever ask me my qualifications for giving financial advice? I don’t remember anybody ever asking. If I were qualified to give advice, I would be charging for it. People read my opinion and took that opinion as a statement of what they should do. It was almost as if my ability to spell "oops" correctly and to use reasonably correct 6th-grade grammar qualified me in their eyes as a penny-stock investment guru.

Another mistake people made was failing to critically examine the good news posted on the thread because they wanted to believe it. When things didn’t happen quite as planned, they blamed the four of us instead of their own failure to do DD. It’s easier to read the thread than it is to read the SEC statements.

Then there are the people who broke every investing rule known to man, suffered the consequences, and blamed the four of us for their own poor judgement. I know of people who invested large sums in TIGI that had been set aside for college educations. I have seen the most naïve people come onto this thread who are looking for the big score. It’s the equivalent of your pet goldfish swimming with a great white shark. Many of the people here have absolutely no business investing in a penny stock in the first place. They were greedy; their plan didn’t work out; they lacked the staying power; and they refused to take personal responsibility for their decisions.

As for your rising cynicism, what can I say? You know where I stand. It is my opinion; I state my opinion in public under my real name; I don’t apologize for it. Nor do I insist that you do as I do. I am in a position to take large risks, and there is not a stock on any board any riskier than this one.

I wish you would post publicly on SI as you are one of the more thoughtful posters here. In fact I invite everybody who is fed up with the crap on RB to join me over here. Best wishes for your investing. Stay warm.

Regards, Suzanne
