I feel that without another drop we will not make it far at all. Without said drop, I would even be hesitant to cover/roll short protection that expires in December. So, to answer your question, no, without another drop I do not see a rally lasting weeks.

It is interesting to note that after the N225 hit its first big low coming off the 1989/1990 top, the lows were not revisited for another 14 months or so.

As for targets to go "mega-short", I do not think that is a worthwhile effort at this point.

I am still watching the older-econ charts and waiting for them to show signs of bigger giving. So far, it's really only been a tech-wreck.
