Victor: "GSt, sadam needs western currency badly. End of story." Come on Victor, on December 5th there will be no authority to ship oil out of Iraq unless Iraq agrees to arms inspections. If you do not think this provides political cover for Iraq to say "no thanks", then you have a very different view of things than I do. The pressure in Europe to cave-in will be intense. The US will try to hold the party line. Iraq could well slip the deadline just to make us all sweat out the impact of higher prices.
