Do you also realize how many are upset - and no doubt a few Republicans - that Bush has made every attempt to block a complete vote in Florida? The feeling by many on the other side is that Bush has, as you put it:

"hurt the prestige of the country. He has hurt the confidence of the people in the election process. He has damaged public confidence in the impartiality of the judicial. He has set a very bad example"

I see that both sides feel this way. Right now, my feeling is that all these Republican claims are trying very hard to push me towards becoming a stronger supporter for Gore, by their outragous comments - and a complete inability to understand the other point of view.

But I will maintain that neither candidate deserved this election. It is a statistical tie, and there is no way, short of another national election, to prove who really should be elected into office.
