great concept, gott
kinda' like the old seinfeld series... a show about nothing.
the news could be filled with stories about nothing. scenes of traffic that isn't jammed and snarled ("yep, everything looks normal here on I-5, now back to you, bill"), volcanos that aren't erupting (with lots of footage of nearby towns that have no ash covering their cars or streets), two or three ambulances sitting parked outside of a dispatch office, an empty baseball stadium on an off day (showing no one in line at the concession stands), pictures of people not being fired from their jobs, boats floating instead of sinking, people paying for items in a store instead of stealing them ("did you see that lady? she had exact change!"), fire not breaking out in an abandoned warehouse, fish swimming around not being caught, some guy who didn't lose his wallet, a large group of people who don't collect anything in particular and maybe even ballots not being recounted in some state somewhere.
"I think this will be very relaxing"
