that Bush has made every attempt to block a complete vote in Florida?

I believe that should be "bush blocked every attempt at a complete MANUAL recount in Florida".

Because he clearly recognized what later transpired, namely the ability of canvassing boards to have non-standardized rules for counting ballots that were designed to be counted electronically.

Gore was the one who really p*ssed me off by cherry picking 3 highly democrat counties for recounts, and then manual recounts, solely on the basis of being able to "mine" them for extra votes.

There are a variety of interests represented here who have a claim on fairness. And while Gore may think it is fair to selectively hand-count those areas that favor him, other counties have an interest in every vote being counted in a fair and representative manner, not necessarily the most accurate one.

And the entire nation has an interest in finality with regard to this election.

And yes, if Bush and Gore were in opposite places, I would regrettably have to say..

"Mr. Bush... It's time to concede in the interest of the nation".
