<ot>Hi Carl - you got a point there [re: JJ and RL.] Actually, we know we are in the pit if Al Sharpton [sp?] shows up <G>!

Well, Gov Bush has scored a TKO, so, I suppose he can declare a winner, for now. According to the commentators, this is only a beginning with all sort of contesting suits hanging out there.

I ve not heard about the 394 absentee ballot situation. So you think it is fraudulent? Surely, there are people from all sides watching every ballot, but it is not out of the realm of possibility. I will look that one up tomorrow.

Well, time is changing. Back in the JFK era, maybe people are more willing to listen to the machine. I mean, school children would do air raid drill and some people would believe segregation was ok. Now, even simple folks like me would try to challenge the prevailing sentiment :)! I agree with you about President Ford [but some people did attack him for pardoning President Nixon,] but there is also the exhaustion element. It is like the stk mkt, when things can't go lower, the reversal is in place :).

So, from that angle, maybe we are too spoiled <VBG>!

best, Bosco
