I think your logic is flawed right at the core. You assume that insurance companies are going to suddenly become technological proficient and efficient. You assume doctors, hospital managers, pharmacies, labs, and drug companies will be able to suddenly turn bad relationships into good ones overnight. You assume insurance companies, need I remind who are responsible for the current process, want to quickly process and pay claims. Don't ever forget almost everyone in health care hates the insurance company's because they always complicate and create more headaches and delay payments, and try to tell the health care professionals what they can and can not do. WEBMD is a technology company without a hidden agenda they are about bringing technology to bear on the fragmented and inefficient healthcare industry. They are going to run pharmacies, clinics, labs, pharmaceutical companies, or insurance companies, instead they are going to make the process better. Remember in today's modern buisness world we all excel in our area of expertise and outsource the rest. Medunite will be WEBMD's biggest customer or will flounder and die a slow and costly death.
