No, those aren't minus signs, though I would understand any confusion. ;) I have only four stocks since I am rebuilding, and any more would cause transaction fees to be burdensome. My age, risk tolerance, and the expectation of at least 30 more years of continued employment explain the selection.

Biggest mistake of the year: Hmmm... That's a tough one. On the surface, it would easily be INTF. However, I learned far more during the time between Feb 1 and May 31 than in any semester of my 10 years in higher education. At roughly the same cost as a semester at a decent school, I'd say it was a bargain. More importantly, however, is the fact that I gained a lifelong friend. That friendship has paid and will continue to pay dividends far greater than any security ever could. As a result, I hesitate to call the INTF debacle a mistake. Perhaps it would be more appropriate to say that my deepest regret for the year was my part in getting some of you involved in that mess.
