As you know, I just got back from Europe and was amazed at the attention given to biotechs in the various newspapers and TV reports. GMO's and Mad Cow Disease were big topics each day on the various media sources.

Jim McCamant still plugging away on LGND this morning on CNBC. Indicates that 2001 will be tough year for biotechs if they don't have product near approval or drugs already approved. Early stage companies will have rough road ahead in his opinion. He also mentioned CORR, ISIS,and IMCL as a few that he liked going into the new year. He also mentioned the big conferences coming up in Dec. and January as a mover of stocks in this period...but then after January, reality to kick in.
