I've seen reproductions of a few of Gann's original charts. Of those, he didn't plot anything for the weekends or holidays. But, he did occasionally use these days in his "counts". I've done it both ways with counts and both seemed to have merit.

Of course, there was no pre-market or after-market trading in his days, so there's no telling what Gann would be doing with that input. My guess is that he'd consolidate a 24 hour period into one trading day and go with it just as he did when trading was limited to "business" hours.
