Biotechs looking hot once again. Beaten down technology stocks are looking good. Short positions might be preparing soon but most are on the long bandwagon AFTER there was a bottom declared prematurely before the Thanksgiving weekend.

Not many short sellers I wouldn't think most of them were out over a week ago. In fact short sellers were going long themselves and were and are biding their time until there is a short term topping. There are sectors that are still shortable notably retailers, brokerages and more than likely the internet sector soon enough.
