Yes, VZ installs the line, but a COVD tech responded for your inside wiring/modem connection. I am aware of this since I tried for the same offer. SBC is your ISP, and they use COVD to be able to service other areas of the country thatis not within their reach. Now imagine what they would do if a good number of their customers use COVD equipment? vested interest? You bet.
