PT- Bush stole this election-pure and simple. Politics and usual. But Bush's hands will be so tied in dealing with Congress. Slim majority in Congress, 50-50 ties in Senate. (This will change even more Democratic in 2 yrs) Bush will be pushed even more to the center. He will accomplish extremely little. Gridlock. This is a good thing. The Dems won't get the spending they want and Bush won't get the tax cuts he wants. Which means the surplus will be used to pay down debt-the best thing possible. The real question is the Supreme Court. Will he want to use up the very little capital he has to push a Scalia, or will he go for a more moderate? Probably his first he'll get a Scalia, but after that it'll be war if he doesn't go with a centralist. Anyway, Bush will be a 1 term president.
