This news wire might get us some more head wind. I hope I can hold on to the sails and not dump off the side of this ship without getting sick.

All: Take a look at the last few lines of the release and tell me what you all think.

Thermo Tech up in heavy trade

NEW YORK, May 28 (Reuter) - Canada's Thermo Tech Technologies Inc rose in heavy trade Wednesday and a company spokesman attributed the increase in part to expansion plans.

Shares in Thermo Tech, a company that converts sewage sludge to organic fertilizer, were up 11/16 to 3-1/4 on Nasdaq, a 12-month high.

Volume in mid-afternoon was 1.9 million shares, putting Thermo Tech among the most-active foreign stocks on Wall Street. The shares have climbed from a 12-month low of 10/16 in late 1996.

Spokesman Lionel Gosselin at the company's Vancouver office told Reuters the rise had quickened since the company announced Friday it got a contract to handle 150 tons of sewage sludge a day at its Hamilton, Ontario, plant.

Thermo Tech said in a statement it would expand its Hamilton plant to handle 500 tons of waste a day. It has a capacity of 300 tons.

The company also said the Canadian government would back a project using Thermo Tech technology to handle hog waste.

Thermo Tech is in talks for the construction of at least two more plants and has added it had hired BDO Dunwoody to help in strategic planning, the statement said.

---------------Just to add another statement about price of TTRIF
I want to say that $70 and $100 are pie in the sky dreams for us and that I don't see many people that have gains here not going to dump soon. I just happen to like pie.
